Russia national team head coach Valery Karpin has shared his thoughts on the career of Aris forward Alexander Kokorin.
“A player with his talent probably could have achieved more. Let’s put it that way,” Karpin said in an interview on Nadezhda Strelets’ YouTube channel.
Kokorin has been playing for Aris since 2022. In the current season, he has made 22 appearances across all competitions for the club without recording a single goal or assist. Previously, he played for Dynamo Moscow, Zenit, Sochi, Spartak Moscow, and Fiorentina.
During his time at Zenit, Kokorin won the Russian Premier League title, the Russian Cup, and the Russian Super Cup. With Aris, he became champion of Cyprus.
