Manchester United are planning a major squad overhaul this summer, targeting at least five new players to strengthen their options for the upcoming season. The Red Devils are reportedly aiming to bring in three central midfielders, a left-back, and a backup striker, according to a report from The Sun.
The report also suggests the club could sign a new goalkeeper to serve as cover for Senne Lammens. It is noted that several players from Premier League clubs are under consideration.
In recent weeks, Manchester United scouts have been monitoring a number of talents, including Nottingham Forest’s Elliot Anderson, Newcastle’s Sandro Tonali, Bournemouth’s Alex Scott, Crystal Palace’s Adam Wharton, and Brighton’s Carlos Baleba.
