Boston Bruins star forward David Pastrnak opened up about his Russian teammate and fellow forward Marat Khustnutdinov.
“I love Husi. He’s such a great guy. He’s always happy, always smiling. He always brings positive energy. And obviously, his game speaks for itself. I’m very proud of the season he had. He’s a big reason why we are where we are. I can’t wait to see more from him. I’m really happy with how he stepped into this year,” Pastrnak said in an interview with the NHL’s official website.
In the current NHL playoffs, Boston was eliminated in the first round, losing the series to the Buffalo Sabres (2-4). The 23-year-old Khustnutdinov recorded 33 points (15 goals, 18 assists) in 77 regular-season games. In six playoff games, the Russian did not register a point.
